Second hand stores are wonderful places. Whenever I can, I go out to take a look at what's available at the Salvation Army. :)

I'm always on the lookout for vintage leather items. There's some wonderful stuff out there in 2nd-hand stores, etc, but always needing cleaning -- just remember to condition the leather well after cleaning

Yikes, didn't see this comment until just now...

No, I have not worked with leather before, but I'm in the process of taking apart an old, leather coat. I'm going to sew the pieces together to make a bag.

I looked up the price of leather online and found that it was just too expensive for me at the moment. :/ But, I think that worked out for the better. By using the old coat I'm recycling, and keeping a cow alive.

Have you worked with leather before? When I first got inspired I had to decide in what direction I wanted to pursue it, then how to finance it. Lots of choices and very rewarding, especially if you can find your own niche. Took me years though to do all that but perseverance pays off in the end.

Appreciate your adding my Celtic Knot and Unicorn. And for adding me to your list too, thanks!

I'm in the liking of this idea.
